VWs and me
Virtual worlds have captured my attention, curiosity, creativity and maybe my sanity (Mwuhahaha). I am especially interested in the power of a 3D graphic environment to foster richly social and productively collegial relationships. What makes it work?
I am currently teaching a course called Teaching and Learning in Virtual Worlds for the Masters of Arts in Teaching Program at Marlboro College Graduate Center http://gradcenter.marlboro.edu/. The course is blended: synchronous sessions in Second Life and asynchronous discussions in Moodle. We'll do a little Sloodling too.
