Hey Trevor, I'm totally checking out your castle/village next time I'm in SL - it sounds like exactly the type of location for a cool adventure for kids tying into not only math, but medieval studies too.

Wow! Your project sounds really interesting! Right off the bat, I start thinking of the mathematics of catapults, angles of ladders to scale castle walls :-)

I definitely want to come visit soon! Thanks for sharing about your project.

This is my avatar on "The Virtual World Known as Second Life" (Registered Trade Mark) platform..- Lehnerd Euler -

Currently working on a personal project (informal) exploring immersive education possibilities related to mathematics learning. Just finishing up the "setting" - a 14000 sq m Medieval walled castle/village and am beginning to embed it with a variety of mathematical themes in order to find ways to design rich and engaging learning experiences. It is located at Gye Ran (194,4,82). Anyone is welcome to drop in and explore, make suggestions, copy objects or discuss topics related to education in Virtual Worlds.
